TUESDAY | DEAL BREAKDOWN

TL;DR

Three businesses scored this week: a $3M medical examination practice in Georgia, a $1.75M orthopedic group in Central Florida, and a $3.5M truck repair and towing company in Connecticut. The first two clear every bar, and one of the two has already sold. The third carries the highest price in the issue and the smallest take-home of the group, and it fails its stress test. Each deal links to its full scored breakdown.

Green means it cleared. Red means it did not. Click any deal for the full model.

🟩 CLEARS AT 2.95x DSCR

Medical Examination Practice | Georgia

Asking Price

$2,999,000

Earnings (SDE)

$1,349,000

Revenue

$1,835,000

Multiple

2.22x

The Setup. A specialized medical examination clinic outside a major Georgia metro. It does not treat anybody. It performs evaluations, range of motion measurements, chart reviews, and the paperwork that goes with them, billed to government-backed contractors rather than to insurers or patients. No lab, no pharmacy, no receivables chasing, no walk-ins. It can be staffed by nurse practitioners rather than physicians, which is why a buyer without a medical license can own it. It also opened in 2023 and runs a 74% margin, and those two facts sitting next to each other are the entire reason to read the full model before you get excited.

$890,942 a year in your pocket, and a margin almost four times what this industry runs. See what has to be true

🟩 CLEARED AT 3.99x DSCR. NOW SOLD.

Orthopedic Practice | Central Florida

Asking Price

$1,750,000

Earnings (SDE)

$1,067,289

Revenue

$2,928,974

Multiple

1.64x

The Setup. This one is gone, and it is worth two minutes of your time anyway. An orthopedic group with multiple clinics in Central Florida, better than twenty people on staff including physicians and therapy clerks, contracts with most of the major insurance carriers, and patients arriving on referral rather than on advertising. Revenue held near $3M for three straight years. It went at 1.64 times earnings. Knowing what that looks like from the outside is how you recognize the next one before somebody else does.

$799,999 a year in your pocket at 1.64x earnings, and somebody else already owns it. See what a good one looks like

The good ones do not sit on the market waiting for you to get educated.

🟥 FAILS STRESS TEST AT 1.21x DSCR

Truck Repair And Towing | Connecticut

Asking Price

$3,500,000

Earnings (SDE)

$806,284

Revenue

$2,378,226

Multiple

4.34x

The Setup. A family-run Connecticut shop doing commercial truck repair, passenger car work, roadside service, and 24/7 towing, with a fleet of heavy wreckers, rollbacks, and service trucks behind it. Two revenue streams under one roof, which is a genuine advantage over a shop that only turns wrenches. Revenue went from roughly $947,000 to $2.38M in two years. Whether that curve is the business growing or the business buying equipment is the thing you would need to see the books to answer.

You pay $3,500,000 to keep $271,705 a year. That is before anything goes wrong. See what goes wrong

Two of these cleared and one of the two is already gone. The third costs more than either of them and hands you a fraction of what they hand you. Price and quality are not the same thing and this week they are not even in the same neighborhood. The red badge is the one to open first.

See you Thursday.
